Shine Myspace

Bio

A band of veteran Omaha musicians, Shine began to form in 2007 by the efforts of longtime friends, guitarist, Ed Winkler and bassist, Bill Hunt. They discovered vocalist, Rob Faber, with drummer, Jeff Counter soon following. Shine injected the first dose of their hard rock and alternative energy, influenced by sounds like Tool, Audioslave and Papa Roach, into the Omaha music scene in early 2008. They wrote and recorded while working out the material with live gigs, adding guitarist, Frank Elder in December 2008 to complete the sound. Shine releases their first full-length album in April 2009. From the first acoustic note of Invisible, to the hard driving riffs of Torn or Bend and Break, their chemistry is apparent.
